MUSEUMS, ARTS AND HERITAGE FOR THE 2030 AGENDA
On November 29th, we will discuss Museums, Arts and Heritage in the 2030 Agenda.
What is sustainability, and what can be our transformative role as a cultural sector?
What is our potential, and are there limits to our impact?
In partnership with the Sesimbra Maritime Museum at the new Coastal Cultural Center, this event is designed to be an inspiring and transformative experience. It values each participant's knowledge and understanding and promotes personal and professional development. People give life and relevance to organisations, making them more agile and capable of responding to the challenges of our time.
Mapa das Ideias
Since 2015, Mapa das Ideias has established a track record of creating exhibitions and educational tools that link the themes of Global Citizenship with the Arts, Culture, and Heritage. This experience also extends to training partnerships and events dedicated to sustainability, including the association A Reserva and the organisation of fairs between 2015 and 2020.
Sharing this experience and vision, we have now designed the SDG Museum Network, a collaborative initiative to empower museums across the country to respond in an innovative and relevant way to global challenges.
Sesimbra Maritime Museum
The Sesimbra Maritime Museum is a model for local action while integrating the global agenda and strategy. In a permanent and creative dialogue with Sesimbra's communities, the municipality has carried out innovative and structuring work with other partners in Norway and the Mediterranean, with social and environmental sustainability at the heart of its strategy.
Registration is open until November 27th. You can access the registration form Here.
